Porcelain doll with three-layer lace skirt - purple. Made in the traditional porcelain manufactory Duchcov near Teplice (Royal Dux Bohemia).

These lace skirts are beautiful and unique, but very fragile. They are produced by a special method, where the porcelain paste is applied to the fabric (in this case cotton fabric), which burns in the kiln (during firing) and the fine porcelain lace remains in the same shape. It is relatively more fragile than the lace of figures that are made in Germany - they use a different fabric as a base - but all the more authentic.

A wonderful collector's item and interior decoration.
