This extraordinary, small sculpture was designed by the Meissen artist Andreas Ehret in 2014. It was inspired by the verse epic "Reinecke Fuchs" (JW v. Goethe); the lion "Nobel", the king of the animals, comes from this fable. A. Ehret interprets the figure in a completely new, modern way using individual, joined porcelain plates. Nobel was lovingly handcrafted in our Thuringian factory.
