Child with Drinking Dog 9 x 11 x 16 cm, Meissen porcelain

A magnificent figurine of a child watching a dog drink from a bowl. The "Hentschel Children" series was created between 1904 and 1907. Through this line of exquisite porcelain figurines, the artist Julius Konrad Hentschel captured the emotions, moods, and behavior of children. 100% hand-decorated; painting the figurine alone takes several days.

World-renowned Meissen porcelain is the first European porcelain. The manufactory has a tradition dating back to 1710 and is recognized by its unmistakable logo—two crossed swords—found on the underside of every product. Each piece is unique in its own way, as they are both handmade and hand-decorated.
