Charles Rennie Mackintosh was a Scottish architect and designer. He was one of the main characters of the Art Nouveau late 19th century. He was born in 1868 and he had 10 siblings. Later he married Margaret MacDonald Mackintosh. Together with her sister Frances McDair McNair and James Herbert McNair, they formed "Four". Charles Rennie Mackintosh created a unique Scottish interpretation of Art Nouveau, which became famous as the Glasgow style.
